JFAC Prompt XVI

Journal Prompt:  This page is going to be dedicated to the pet or pets that have you heart :)  This could be a pet of the past, a pet your currently have in your family, or even a dream pet!  Dedicate a page to a special animal :)

When I read this prompt I was so excited! I couldn't think of anything I'd like better than to dedicate a page to my beloved Springer Spaniel, Jake. It was, however, very hard. Six years ago I 'lost' Jake in a messy divorce. Suffice to say I didn't get custody. I think that probably the reason I'm finding it difficult to 'let go' is because I don't know where he is or how he is. When a pet dies you grieve and gradually you come to terms with the loss. But somehow when they are still around just not with you it's harder.




I cried buckets while doing this one. I'm surprised the paper didn't get spoiled! But I couldn't have done this page for anyone else but him.
