I decided to have a go a sketching a portrait with charcoal pencils, a medium I haven't played with since secondary school art classes! I just happened to see some in a dollar store and thought I'd have a go! Away from home right now and didn't have any photos to hand but I did have an Avon book! Haven't a clue who this woman is but it was good practice. Actually, although it's not perfect, I am quite pleased that it turned out as good as it did considering it's a first attempt!
